A TASTE OF CULTURE culinary arts program combines spicy tidbits of food lore with practical tips and skill-building lessons on how to prepare Japanese food. Programs offer a unique opportunity for foreign residents and visitors from overseas to explore and enjoy Japan’s culture through its food.

Instruction is in English.

Tasting sessions, cooking classes and customized culinary programs are conducted in A Taste of Culture’s home-style kitchen, fully equipped for teaching traditional Japanese cooking. Market tours and other field trips are conducted in the Tokyo metropolitan area. A Taste of Culture also delivers a limited number of private workshops in the home kitchens of Tokyo residents.
