Whatever happened to halay? Not sure if I am spelling it correctly. That chewy pink "sweety" wrapped in parchment paper that we used to buy in the tuck shop at school, or the corner parlour. Does no one know how to make it anymore? Such a shame when things like this and guava lollipops become obsolete. I would love a recipe for halay but I have searched everywhere for one with no luck.

I really did love it. The Khurma is almost gone; I've tried to pace myself. I tried a little of the rum & raisin bar and it's wonderful -- very rum-my. I haven't decided what I'll be having for dessert tonight. I think it may be the digestive. I really am a fan of those. I may bake something tonight and I'll be listening to the CD, that's for sure. I can't wait to listen to it. Reggae Hanukkah!

I did the same with my BBM package. I picked everything I could that was not just American (like cranberry candy) but Pennsylvanian (Hershey's candy bars and Tastycakes).

Here's hoping your package arrives soon...
