Grim.
Truly awful food, with staff who are obviously under instruction to accept no criticism.
Us: "Um, excuse me, but these wings taste overpoweringly of vinegar"
Server: "I'll call the manager"
Us: "Um, excuse me sir, but these wings taste overpoweringly of vinegar"
So-Called Manager: "No way. Have you ever eaten here before?"
Us: "Yes, a couple of times"
SCM: "Well then you know they are supposed to taste so"
Us: " But we had these before, and they were OK. These ones are just sour, like they were soaked in vinegar"
SCM: "There's nothing wrong with them"
Us: "Huh? Try one nah!"
SCM: " I don't have to."
Us: "So how can you say there's nothing wrong with them? We can't even eat them, they are so
vinegary"
SCM: "These are cooked to our worldwide standards. They are perfect. Maybe you are not used to the taste"
Us: " Well there's something wrong with these. We'd prefer not to be charged for them, as they are inedible. We will find somewhere else to eat"
SCM: "I'll have security deal with you"
Us:" Excuse me! At least show us how confident you are in this food by trying one bite."
SCM: "No way." [He walks off]
Rather than make a fight of it, we pay for the inedible starter and vow never to return.

Hi chica,
Great post! We've actually redone the whole Discover Trinidad & Tobago website and the food section which hopefully covers some more of T&T food. The new section (for Trinidad -- Tobago's separate) is at:http://discovertnt.com/trinidad/food/3/18
Let us know what you think!
Blessings, and keep up the great work!

I went to the restaurant on 29/3/09. I ordered a Half-rack of Ribs with Tenders served with onion rings and fries. We got our order surprisingly fast. I mention this because it was a holiday weekend in my country and the place was basically packed. I ate most of my dinner and asked for a "doggie bag". Anyway the interesting part is that by 3am on Monday i had stomach cramps...by 7am i had a serious diarrhea...which lasted for the entire day along with vomitting. Went to the hospital for treatment that night. For most of the day today(Tuesday) i was cramping and i started back vomitting and going to the toilet tonight. The point is i am dissatisfied with the quality of food served and as such i would not be recommending that restaurant to anyone unless something is done about the quality. In fact i plan to highlight this problem to the managemant of this franchise and also to our local newspapers.

I think they have the absolute best ribs!!!!!!!! The music videos idea in the bar is really addictive. I went to other bars after seeing this and thought they were boring. The only thing they can do for me is lower the prices.
