I want to eat everything here. I want to try the Mango mascapone tart because I recently found some at Price Smart! Went wild and bought four tubs. Hid them in the back of the fridge so that husband won't yell at me when he sees the price! Originally planed to make tiramisu-not the tiramisu cake that you get at Jardin de T but the real stuff. I have tried it in the past with creamcheese and sourcream as a substitute...so you can imagine my excitment at actually finding marscapone ...I have never tasted it before so I am hoping it's sufficiently wonderful to justify the outrageous price to hubby. So I was all set on Tiramisu but now that mango mascapone tart is calling to me....sadly mangoes are out of season and only my fav julie would do for that dish...hmm my friend freezes julie so she can have them all year round and my father -in-laws tree has been known to surprise with some out of season gems-maybe I'll get lucky.
