		<description>Well home made is definitely one hundred percent better than the Mabel&#039;s green seasoning which is shown in the picture.  My Guyanese husband accidentally brought home this brand and it was sloppy and gluey looking with little flavour.  If you can&#039;t make your own, try some Bajan green seasoning if you can find it, &#039;Delish&#039; for preference.  It really is almost like home made.</description>

In Puerto Rico we make a similar green seasoning (sofrito)--ours has onion, garlic, green peppers, seasoning peppers, culantro, and a touch of oregano all blended together.  I was so happy to move here and find 1) culantro for it and 2) that Trinidad green seasoning is just as good!</description>

So, I use as little water as I can for the food processor to work, and add salt instead to the seasoning mix as a preservative. It just means that when I am adding the green seasoning my dish I have to adjust the salt that I add in addition to the seasoning, but I&#039;ve never had a problem. </description>
