REVIEW: “Angostura Bitters (The Taste That Changed the World)”

via Instagram ift.tt/1AkzEv3

“Angostura Bitters (The Taste That Changed the World)” is an easy to follow, vividly photographed cookbook. The recipes lean towards an international palette, rather than Caribbean, and cocktail pairings (utilizing the Angostura line of liquors) are offered for many of the dishes.

Copies can be bought at the House of Angostura (Corner Eastern Main Rd & Trinity Avenue, Laventille) in Trinidad. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a readily available online outlet. Try tracking ebay or secondhand engines like AbeBooks.com. Better yet, contact the House of Angostura online if you are interested in procuring one for yourself :)

The House of Angostura is located on a 20 acre complex in Trinidad which includes its state-of the art rum distillery, administration offices, a museum, art gallery, wine and spirits retail outlet, dining room and hospitality suites. Tours of the property are conducted on request with advance notice.
