    ooo ackee and saltfish :D that’s a huge fave of mine :D been meaning to post my mom’s version for the longest while :) i only get to eat it every few years cos ackee isn’t readily available here :(

    it’s because everyone has searched in vain for a doubles recipe for years - particularly for one with pictures and sounds like it comes from someone who has eaten more than one. And knows what it is (I recently watched the Travel Channel’s visit to T&T where the host glouriously ate “double” after “double”…sigh - nobody explained to her that doubleS was both singular and plural).
