I tried this today and they came out great.
I made aloo pies in the past and they were heavy and &quot;bready&quot;.
I never flattened them like you suggested,also my kneaded flour was not the best.
My kneading has gotten better while racticing on bakes and with the flattened dough ,they came out great!!
