Thanks for clicking the URL in our Twitter profile! We created this page to give you a little background on Trinigourmet, who we are and what we are about.
My name is Sarina and I’m the founder of Trinigourmet.com as well as author of “Trinigourmet’s Glam By Request: 30+ Easy Caribbean Recipes”.
Trinigourmet.com, an award-winning blog, helps food lovers around the world add a dash of Caribbean Glam to their tables. “Sweet Han’ Fuh So!”
Since 2006 we’ve used the power of the Internet to spread awareness of authentic Trinidadian and Caribbean dishes. In seeking to preserve and elevate visual depictions of our region’s culinary heritage we’ve enabled thousands throughout the Diaspora to recreate fond childhood memories. We’ve also introduced just as many (if not more) to a cuisine that still remains largely under-promoted and increasingly vulnerable to dilution and misrepresentation.
You can read a little more about how Trinigourmet came to be on our About Page (where you’ll also get a glimpse at Jason, our Community Manager, who now shares @Trinigourmet duties with me).
Trinigourmet On Twitter
Throughout the day we use our Trinigourmet Twitter stream to share links to past posts as well as alert you to the publication of new ones. We also use the feed to run occasional giveaways and, most importantly, to engage with YOU Jason and I both do our best to make sure your questions and comments are responded to within 24 hours and on Thursdays, from 1-2 A.S.T, I host “Twitter Thursdays” a weekly chat session under the #caribbeancooks hashtag.
Unfortunately because of past experiences with spam in our DMs we are pretty hit and miss when it comes to following other accounts, please don’t take it personally. The easiest way to let us know you’re not a bot is to engage us and let us get to know what you’re all about
