The above advert for a restaurant (new?) called Angelo’s caught my eye in the Saturday Express. Ariapita Avenue is the main culinary artery for dining in and around Port-of-Spain and it really is amazing how many restaurants it seems able to contain! I think I”ll have to check them out, especially as Tiramisu is currently my Häagen Dazs flavour of choice (for reasons that will be posted in the near future
).
If you’ve eaten at Angelo’s why not leave a comment to let me and others know your thoughts/opinion, etc.

This month marks the third installment of my “CookALong” series where a prominent (usually) Caribbean personality follows one of my recipes, and sometimes throws in a few of their own This week however I’m shaking things up a bit by ...

Had food there twice, once when they were transitioning between angelo’s and the previous restaurant, and the other time just a few weeks ago. Both times the food, and wine choices were excellent.

I visit Trinidad at least three times a year. From the moment I met Angelo when he was in partnership in El Colaseo I have since followed him to Angelo’s. He is THE BEST there is not only in his culinary skills but his wonderful personality. He and his family are just beautiful people. Love..love…love the food at Angelo’s.
I wish them all the very best in 2009.

Went to Angelo’s to celebrate my birthday with some friends and two other birthday girls. The food was great, the music was wonderful and the ambience was superb! Love the colonial style building and the candle lit dinning!! No complaints
Highly recommended.
