Wine Clubs in Trinidad and Tobago?

I am clueless about wine. Utterly clueless. In fact I only just realized that some is red and some is not…. (ok not -that- bad but believe me I’m pretty bad). Last year there seemed to be an explosion of niche wine stores and wine clubs here in Trinidad. I almost began to feel that maybe I could get the hang of this wine thing. Start saying things like ‘an insolent bouquet’ and ‘jaunty sparkle’ with a straight face while others ooh’d and aah’d… but now it appears that many of those clubs are no longer in operation? Most notably the More Vino club no longer appears on their website. At this point the only club I can still find information on is the Newsday Wine Club.
If you know of other Wine Clubs within Trinidad and Tobago leave a comment. Thanks ![]()
By hook or by crook I -will- slowly lose my ‘winey’ ignorance in 2007 ![]()

Nikki, sis told me that there were wine tastings in Trini and the cost.
SO I took her to a store that only sells alcohol and she saw that some of the wines from the tastings were the very cheap (not so good wines) from Australia etc. so i think, come to the US and hang out and find out what you like here. German whites are good, like Reisling etc.
Some Chardonnay, you just have to try different ones at different prices
yuh sendin me a ticket?
When I can afford I will send you one def!
BUT I was wanting to let you know not to get taken in by people there trying to pass off cheap acidic wine as the real deal
well i’z double check everything on the internet b4 i invest … morevino is a good place but their club died …
there’s another place that afett (association of female executives of trinidad and tobago) used to have events at but they’re not online and i’m too lazy to go there with that as my only question… i don’t even know their name to call
