1. Trinidad Doubles – recipe

Trinidad doubles is the ultimate local street food. It’s cheap. Usually hot/warm. Hearty. Filling.

This dish is a stereotypical part of the traditional Trinidadian Sunday lunch and is also offered in cubed form at BBQs and other casual outdoor functions.

Ciabatta Bread

3. Ciabatta Bread – recipe

This recipe for Ciabatta Bread creates a very light loaf, soft and chewy on the inside with a thin crunchy rustic crust. I made it for my mom’s birthday and it was a huge hit. I hope it will be a hit with you as well

You can view the recipe here.

Don’t think I could make the doubles but the best doubles I had so far was in Arima.
I tried by the airport but the doubles-man put too much pepper, so I was unable to judge it.

Can’t beat a mac-pie on a Sunday its a must when my mum cooks sunday food!
